I started working on this website after the nationwide mandamano against Ruto and his proposed finance bill. The military forces that were deployed to scare and intimidate Gen Z protestors only birthed militancy out of me. This website is a collection of my thoughts on what militancy means to me right now as a young Kenyan. There is a theme of searching in this work, the cursor tries to find the next hyperlink and the next text, similar to how I have had to search through different sources, different ruins and different feelings for my post-coloniality to make sense.
I am thankful for the books Corridors of British Colonialism by Samuel Waruhiu and Squatters and the Roots of the Mau Mau by Tabitha Kanogo for helping me piece together the past.
